The Superintendent, or his/her designee, is responsible for making decisions about school closures, early dismissals, and/or delays. Communications regarding school closures, early dismissal and delays will include but not be limited to radio, social media, phone, television and the district website.

In the event that additional school days need to be scheduled due to closures, the District Calendar Committee will meet to recommend how this can be accomplished. These recommendations will be brought to the School Board for approval before being communicated to the educational community.

Once school is canceled, all activities will be canceled for the remainder of the day.
